WASHINGTON — Montgomery County, Md., Police are investigating a possible homicide Sunday morning, after a body was found slumped over the wheel of a car in the parking lot of an apartment building.
Police are offering few details, but in a press release early Sunday, they said detectives from the Montgomery County Police- Major Crimes Division are investigating “the suspicious death of an adult male in the Bel Pre area as a homicide.”
They said they received a call at approximately 12:35 a.m. from a passerby who reported that “a person appeared to be slumped over the wheel of a vehicle,” at a parking lot located at Whispering Pine Drive and Whispering Pine Court.
Officers and Fire and Rescue personnel responded and found a deceased adult male in the driver’s seat of a vehicle — he appeared to have been shot.
