RANDALLSTOWN, Md. (AP) — Police in Maryland have charged a woman’s estranged husband with killing her and her boyfriend.
Baltimore County Police said in a statement Tuesday that 43-year-old Dominick Hursey is charged with two counts of first-degree murder.
Hursey’s estranged wife, Chinika Hursey, and her boyfriend, Steven Scott Campbell, both 36, were found dead Monday morning in their Randallstown home. Police are awaiting autopsy results on the cause of their deaths.
Investigators say the Hurseys’ children were in the home during the crimes but were not injured. Police did not say how many children were there, or their ages.
Authorities say Chinika Hursey had obtained a protective order against Dominick Hursey in February.
Dominick Hursey is being held without bail. Online court records do not list a lawyer for him.
