Reaction to Md. Gov. Hogan’s cancer diagnosis

WASHINGTON – Reaction to Gov. Larry Hogan’s cancer diagnosis has been pouring in from around the state and the region. Here is what some are saying:

“I am saddened to hear that my friend, Governor Hogan, has been diagnosed with cancer, however, I am confident that he will take on this new opponent in life with the same tenacity he has shown throughout his life.”

“The thoughts and prayers of all Prince Georgians are with Governor Hogan and his family as he begins his battle with cancer. I applaud how Governor Hogan candidly and courageously made the announcement today concerning his health challenge. Clearly he is a fighter and I am confident he will battle this disease with courage and tenacity. I wish him the best and join all our fellow citizens who are praying for his full recovery.

I want him to know that the people of Prince George’s County are here to support him as he works to overcomes this obstacle and we will cheer for him all the way until he is cancer free.”
