Nationals to collect food, other hurricane-relief donations by ballpark

WASHINGTON — The Washington Nationals will collect nonperishable food, toiletries, cleaning supplies and other items this weekend to benefit hurricane victims.

From Friday through Sept. 17, the Nats will accept donations between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. When gates open on game days, the Nats will accept donations at the center field and home plate entrances. Outside of game times, they’ll accept donations on the First Street side.
