DC Bike Ride closes streets in DC, Arlington

WASHINGTON — Streets around the National Mall, West Potomac Park, Arlington and other areas will be closed to accommodate cyclists for the DC Bike Ride Sunday.

The bike ride course will be closed from 6:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. on Sunday.

The area around the course’s finish line will be closed until 7 p.m. Sunday:

  • Constitution Avenue NW from Third to Seventh Streets NW
  • Pennsylvania Avenue NW from Third to Seventh Streets NW
  • Fourth Street from Independence Avenue SW to Constitution Avenue NW

These closures are subject to change without notice, said D.C. Police, who advise drivers to be mindful of heavy pedestrian traffic and to consider alternate routes.
