Washington Gas website woes impact customers

WASHINGTON — Washington Gas issued an apology to customers Christmas Eve, who were unable to pay their bills due to website problems.

Changes to the utility’s website left some customers unable to access their account information.

Washington Gas Director of Corporate Communications Jim Monroe says the company is aware of the problems, and apologizes for the inconvenience it’s caused. Monroe says they are actively working to resolve the issues, and hope the website will be operating shortly.
