WASHINGTON — Thousands of people are without power as Tuesday turned into Wednesday. As of 11 a.m. Wednesday:
- Dominion Power is reporting 1,000 outages, including 200 in Fairfax County and 300 in Loudoun County;
- Potomac Edison has 130 households without power, mostly in Frederick County, Maryland.
The power companies say that you should always report an outage and never assume they know about it. If you need the number for your power company, text the word POWER to 91035 and we’ll text the list back to you.
