Lottery opens for White House Easter Egg Roll

WASHINGTON – The annual lottery for tickets to the White House Easter Egg Roll opened Monday.

The lottery will close at noon, Thursday, Feb. 26 and results will be available March 5.

This year, the event will be held on a Monday in order to accommodate more children and their families, according to the White House.

Tickets to the April 6 egg roll are free to lottery winners.

Apply for the lottery by visiting recreation.gov.
