Run away to join the circus in McLean with Cirque du Soleil’s ‘Echo’

Have you ever dreamed of running away to join the circus? You aren’t the only one!

WTOP’s Matt Kaufax went out to Tyson’s Corner in McLean, Virginia, to check out Cirque du Soleil’s latest creation: their new show, “Echo.” The show is back in the D.C. area for a limited time through Oct. 22.

With death-defying acrobatics, massive set pieces and an inspiring message about nature and our planet, creators say “Echo” has a little something for everyone.

To really immerse himself in the act, Kaufax decided to ditch the button-down for some gym shorts, and had one of Cirque’s coaches put him through their acrobat evaluation. See if he has what it takes to make the troupe!
