PHOTOS: 5 years ago, deadly Metro fire hits DC

Sunday marks five years since the Metro fire that killed one and sickened dozens.

The National Transportation Safety Board said in 2016 that the fire was the result of poor maintenance and ineffective inspection practices by the city’s beleaguered transit authority.
