2022 Kennedy Center Honors: George Clooney, Gladys Knight and U2 among the honorees

Every year the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts honors a select group of people for artistic contributions to American culture. This year, honorees include singer Gladys Knight, rock band U2, actor, director, producer and human rights activist George Clooney, groundbreaking composer and conductor Tania León, and Christian singer Amy Grant.
