Beyonce, Jay-Z summer stadium tour includes stop in DC

WASHINGTON — Beyonce and Jay-Z have set a sequel to their sold-out On the Run tour and are planning a stop in the D.C. area this summer.

The duo comes to FedEx Field, in Landover, Maryland, July 28. The tour also includes stops in Philadelphia, Chicago, Houston and Los Angeles.

The OTR II tour kicks off June 6 in the U.K., and will include 15 cities in Europe and 21 cities in North America.

Tickets go on sale to the public March 19. Members of Beyonce’s fan club, the Beyhive, as well as subscribers to Jay-Z’s music streaming service Tidal, can buy tickets starting March 14.

Owners of a Citi card will also have pre-sale ticket opportunities via citiprivatepass.com.

Beyonce and Jay-Z performed the six-week sold-out On the Run tour in the summer of 2014. A performance in Paris was filmed for an HBO special and was nominated for an Emmy.
