Wendy Williams passes out on live TV

WASHINGTON — It was a scary Halloween for talk show host Wendy Williams.

Dressed in a shiny green Statue of Liberty costume, the bubbly host of “The Wendy Williams Show” fainted on Tuesday morning in front of a live studio audience.

Williams shook before falling out of frame and collapsing to the ground.

The crowd audibly gasped and a producer ran over to help as the show cut to a commercial.

After the commercial break, Williams returned to explain what happened.

“That was not a stunt,” she said. “I overheated in my costume. I did pass out. But you know what, I’m a champ and I’m back.”
