WWE wrestler George ‘The Animal’ Steele dies at 79

WASHINGTON — He’s known for biting turnbuckles with his green tongue.

On Thursday, WWE wrestler George “The Animal” Steele died while in hospice care at age 79.

Steele occasionally starred in movies, playing Tor Johnson in Tim Burton’s “Ed Wood” (1994).
