Legendary singer-songwriter Leonard Cohen dead at 82

WASHINGTON — Legendary singer-songwriter Leonard Cohen has died at 82.

Rolling Stone reports the announcement was confirmed by his record label, Sony Music Canada.

Still no word on the cause of death.

Cohen’s career spanned five decades of influential music, his most famous contribution being the song “Hallelujah,” which was covered by the likes of Rufus Wainwright and Jeff Buckley.
