Fort Reno concert series returns to Upper Northwest D.C.

WASHINGTON — D.C. concert goers are breathing a sigh of relief.

The decades-long tradition of the Fort Reno concert series will return July 7 through Aug. 4.

The annual series brings D.C. bands to the small stage at Fort Reno Park in Upper Northwest.

Local favorite Titles Tracks will help kick off the series Thursday night.

The show on Monday, July 11 is dedicated to the late John Stabb, former frontman of D.C. punk band Government Issue. Stabb would have turned 55 on Monday but passed away earlier this year.

The final night will feature a performance of classical music on Aug. 4.

The shows all start at 7 p.m. and end at sundown each night.
