President Obama to appear on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’

WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama is returning to “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”

The president will appear on ABC’s late-night show on Thursday, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

It marks the second time President Obama has joined Kimmel’s show. He was last seen during a satellite appearance in June 2008, before he was elected that fall in a historic victory.

This time, he’ll have new issues to discuss, from ISIS to a potential nuclear deal with Iran.

Thursday’s show will also feature actor Sean Penn, who stirred controversy with a “green card” joke while presenting Best Picture to “Birdman” at the Academy Awards.
