Surprise! ‘House of Cards’ S3 on Netflix…nevermind

WASHINGTON – Season Three of “House of Cards” was supposed to premiere on Friday Feb. 27.

But stunned fans logged on Netflix Wednesday to find 10 episodes of the new season already streaming.

Mere minutes later, the episodes had mysteriously disappeared.

The double switch sparked speculation about whether this was a mistake or a PR stunt.

CNBC reports the leak was due to a glitch in Netflix’s software.

Meanwhile, the official “House of Cards” Twitter handle had this to say:

Either way, that wily Frank Underwood has been known to be sneaky.
