WASHINGTON — Two people sustained serious injuries following a three-vehicle car crash in D.C. Sunday morning.
The two victims with serious injuries were transported to the hospital.
A third victim had only minor injuries following the crash. There were no life-threatening injuries.
Officials say the crash occurred just before 4 a.m., west of Chain Bridge Road on the Clara Barton Parkway in Northwest.
D.C. Fire and EMS say the three people were trapped in two separate cars. They had to be extricated from the vehicles.
Clara Barton Parkway was closed in both directions where the crash occurred for about two hours, but has since reopened. For more traffic updates, visit WTOP’s traffic page.
