Easier to get passes to Nat’l Museum of African American History

WASHINGTON — The Smithsonian is making it a little easier to get into the National Museum of African American History and Culture.

Beginning next Monday, the museum will make free, same-day passes available online, rather than requiring visitors to line up in person.

Some people will be allowed to walk up and enter after 1 p.m., depending on how large the crowds are.

More than 600,000 people have visited the museum since it opened Sept. 24.

Read the changes on the National Museum of African American History and Culture’s website.
