Missing D.C.12-year-old located

WASHINGTON – D.C. police said Thursday that Skyy Amari Young has been found and is safe.

WASHINGTON — Police in D.C. are asking for help finding a critical missing 12-year-old girl.

Skyy Amari Young was last seen around 10:50 a.m. Wednesday in the 4800 block of Alabama Avenue, Southeast, near F Street, Southeast.

Young is described as standing 5-feet-2-inches tall, weighing 180 pounds, with long, braided black hair and dark brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white polo shirt, khaki pants (school uniform style), a gray 1/2 — length jacket with white fur, and pink and purple sparkling boots. Police say she may have changed into a red shirt, khaki pants, a green jacket and rainbow-colored boots.

According to police, Young may be in need of medication.
