Armed carjacking occurs in D.C.

WASHINGTON — The Metropolitan Police Department has been looking for two suspects after an armed carjacking in the District early Monday.

Police say shortly after 2 a.m. the suspects took a gold 2002 Cadillac STS from a neighborhood along East Capitol Street, Southeast.

Police are looking for two black men. One was wearing a blue mask and held a shotgun.

The other suspect was armed with a pistol.

No one was hurt.
