WASHINGTON — Police are hoping anyone who may have seen a motorcycle/pedestrian accident on eastbound Independence Avenue at the Kutz Bridge can provide them with information.
The crash, under investigation by the U.S. Park Police, occurred about 5:55 a.m. Sunday, just before the Cherry Blossom Ten Mile Run.
The accident resulted in serious injuries, police say.
Police are attempting to find anyone who may have been in the area of 17th and Independence avenues, SW, 5:45 a.m. and 6:15 a.m.
