Despite temps in Virginia rivaling the North Pole, Water Skiing Santa made his way to the Potomac River on Saturday to bring Christmas cheer to the crowds along the waterfront of Old Town Alexandria.

For the 37th year, the annual Water Skiing Santa show provided seasonal thrills to everyone who came out to Waterford Park early Saturday afternoon. The event, featuring special guest Frosty the Snowman, was livestreamed on Water-Skiing Santa’s Facebook page.

Despite initial icing issues with his skis, Santa and his reindeer triumphed with his second pass for the crowd gathered along Alexandria’s Waterfront.

Many of Water Skiing Santa’s loyal and indentured tubing elves were on hand at the event.
