VIDEO: Paul McCartney remembers John Lennon at March for Our Lives

WASHINGTON — While the March for Our Lives rally in D.C. was the biggest, it was by no means the only rally in the country on Saturday.

There were more than 800 marches across the U.S. and the world. Several celebrities spoke and took part in the marches.

One of them was Sir Paul McCartney, who spoke to CNN in New York City and referenced John Lennon when asked why he was marching.

“I’m like everyone,” he said. “One of my best friends was killed by gun violence right around here, so it’s important to me not just to march today but to take action tomorrow.”
