Teen girl dead after tree falls on car in Baltimore Co.

WASHINGTON — A teenager is dead after a tree fell on a car in Baltimore County Thursday afternoon.

Three other people were trapped inside the car

It happened on Pot Spring Road at Deer Fox Lane in Timonium at around 5:30 p.m. Thursday.

The Lutherville fire department used a crane to remove the tree from on top of a Hyundai Sonata.

Inside the car were four people — the driver and three juveniles.

A 14-year-old girl seated in the rear was dead on the scene. A 16-year-old girl and a 13-year-old girl had non-life threatening injuries and were taken to Johns Hopkins Children Center. The driver, who was the mother of the deceased girl, was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
