Anne Arundel Co. experiencing issues receiving 911 calls

WASHINGTON — Anne Arundel County residents may have trouble getting through to 911 Tuesday.

The county’s call center is experiencing some issues receiving 911 calls. People who call 911 may get a busy signal, police tweeted Tuesday afternoon.

Officials or those experiencing a medical emergency can call 410-222-0701, police said.

“Verizon is actively working to resolve this issue,” police tweeted.
