ALEXANDRIA, Va. — Even for cities as big as Washington, D.C., for many neighborhood, fresh organic foods are not easy to come by. But through local farms and the use of mobile markets, the Arcadia Center of Alexandria, Virginia, is hoping to change that.
Additionally, it’s offering veterans a path toward becoming sustainable farmers.
