WASHINGTON — Hey, all you Monkees fans. Hop on the “Last Train to Clarksville” — make that the Washington Animal Rescue League — to meet the feline version of teenage heartthrob Davey Jones.
This 2-year-old cat is as appealing as his human namesake, thanks to his good looks and charming personality. Seriously, this cat is something special.
He’s very social and will follow you around for a chat and a cuddle. So if you’re looking for a handsome hunk to share your life, stop by and meet Davey. And if you adopt him or one of his feline friends this month, WARL will waive the adoption fee in honor of Adopt-a-Shelter-Cat Month.
And, Davey reminds you to vote for his friends Starling and Bertha in bestinshelter.org’s online “Meow Madness” competition this Thursday.
