NBC: Charlie Sheen to make ‘revealing’ personal announcement on ‘Today’ show

WASHINGTON — Charlie Sheen is about to drop a personal bombshell.

Tuesday morning on the “Today” show, Sheen will make a revealing personal announcement in an exclusive sit-down interview with Matt Lauer.

The actor will appear live in Studio 1A.

Sheen has starred in acclaimed films such as “Platoon” (1986) and “Wall Street” (1987) and mainstream hits like the baseball comedy “Major League” (1989). In 2002, he won a Golden Globe for TV’s “Spin City.” He then earned four Emmy nominations for his role in TV’s “Two and a Half Men.”

In recent years, he is perhaps best known for his wild off-screen antics and lifestyle hashtags such as “winning” and “tiger blood.”

So far, there’s no official confirmation on the subject of the announcement.
