Eaglets at National Arboretum get names

WASHINGTON — The eaglets at the National Arboretum have names.

After an online contest that drew about 30,000 votes, the American Eagle Foundation announced on Wednesday that the eaglets formerly known as DC4 and DC5 will be named Honor and Glory.

The naming process began in mid-April with a hashtag campaign to get to four finalists. The others were Stars and Stripes; Peace and Harmony, and Anacostia and Potomac.

The eaglets hatched in late March, and can be seen on the DC Eagle Cam.
