WASHINGTON — A man is dead after he was shot Sunday morning along Green Street in Southeast.
At roughly 5:30 a.m., police officers responded to a call to investigate the area. When they arrived, officers found John Jones, 24, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Fire officials pronounced Jones dead at the scene.
