WASHINGTON – Lit and flick fans now can get their first glimpse of Leonardo DiCaprio starring as one of fiction’s most iconic characters.
The new teaser/trailer for “The Great Gatsby” — directed by Baz Luhrmann (“Moulin Rouge!”) and slated for a Christmas release — shows DiCaprio along with fellow stars Tobey Maguire and Carey Mulligan in the adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s famous novel.
The trailer also features some stylish tunes from a more modern era than the book’s setting, including “No Church in the Wild” by Kanye West and Jay-Z.
