Woman alleges sexual assault at Woodbridge motel

WASHINGTON – A clerk at a Woodbridge, Va., motel says she was sexually assaulted after answering a call to let someone into a room.

Prince William County police say the 33-year-old woman works at an Econo Lodge on Gordon Boulevard, and told authorities Tuesday night that she received a call to let someone into one of the motel’s rooms. As she was walking to the room, the woman told police she was approached by a masked man in a stairwell and forced into the room at knifepoint.

The woman says she was knocked unconscious and sexually assaulted. She could not provide police with a suspect description other than that he wore a mask.

Police say they later determined the room the clerk was called to was vacant.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Crime Solvers at (703) 670-3700 or (866) 411-TIPS.
