Excessive heat warning Saturday

WASHINGTON — The National Weather Services has issued an excessive heat warning for Saturday.

The warning is in effect from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday. Storm Team 4 forecasts afternoon heat index will be between 110 to 115 degrees.

There is not much of a break on Sunday, either.  Hazy, hot and very humid on Sunday with afternoon highs in the upper 90s.

Experts say under these conditions there is a high risk of heat stroke or other heat-related illnesses, especially for those without air conditioning or those spending extended periods outdoors. You should wear light and loosefitting clothing and stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water.
