VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (AP) — Virginia Beach police say they’re still conducting tests on a video camera that was found hidden in a family’s motel room three months ago.
Officer Tonya Pierce said Tuesday that it remains unclear if the camera was even recording or being used for voyeuristic purposes. She said forensic tests on the device will take some more time before they’re complete.
The camera was found when Angela Wallace and her family were staying at the Knights Inn over Memorial Day Weekend. She told Pittsburgh TV station WPXI that she fears footage of her or her 11-year-old daughter was captured and potentially shared online. The family lives in Fayette County, Pennsylvania.
