A man was arrested for assault of Virginia State police officers outside the Vienna Metro station Sunday as white nationalists boarded trains destined for Washington D.C. protests.
There was heavy police presence at the Vienna Metro station in Fairfax County, Virginia, Sunday as white nationalists took a private car to D.C. for the “Unite the Right 2” rally.
“My detectives tell me that it was random, and that makes it that much more disconcerting,” said Fairfax County police spokesman Don Gotthardt.
