Police seek persons of interest in Manassas fatal stabbing

WASINGTON — Manassas police are investigating a fatal stabbing that occurred early Saturday morning.

Police responded to the 9700 block of Bragg Lane and found a man lying on the sidewalk with a stab wound at around 5:10 a.m.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said the man appeared to be in his mid-20s.

Detectives identified multiple persons of interests and said the victim and the persons of interests knew each other.

Detectives said they believe the stabbing was an isolated incident.

Anyone with information is asked to call Manassas police at 703-257-8092. There is a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
