WASHINGTON — A police officer has died as a result of injuries sustained in a shooting Saturday night.
Three officers were shot while responding to a domestic shooting incident in Woodbridge, Virginia, according to Prince William County police. Officer Ashley Guindon died Saturday night from her injuries.
According to the Prince William County Police Department Twitter account, Guindon had only just begun her career as a Prince William County police officer. She was sworn in on Friday.

The officers were shot at the scene of a domestic shooting in the block of 13000 Lashmere Court. Police said the officers were being treated for their injuries.
The two other officers’ conditions are unknown. Further details were unavailable.
Police say a suspect is in custody.
