Beltsville death investigated as homicide

WASHINGTON — Prince George’s County police are investigating the death of a man in Beltsville, Maryland as a homicide and are looking for suspects and a motive.

The man was found late Wednesday night in Prince George’s County with what turned out to be critical injuries.

At 10:20 p.m., police found the man on the 11200 block of Evans Trail near James Duckworth Regional School after being called there for a welfare check.

The man died after being taken to the hospital.

His identity has not been released.

Detectives are working to find a suspect and motive. Anyone with information regarding the death should call PG Crime Solvers at 866-411-8477 (TIPS).
