WASHINGTON — A missing University of Maryland student has been found and is safe six days after she was reported missing.

University of Maryland police tweeted Kaitlyn George, 21, was OK.
She was found shortly after 8 a.m. Wednesday, alone in a fast food restaurant in Houston.
Earlier, police had said George had bought a bus ticket to Norfolk, Virginia from Baltimore.
George was reported missing Nov. 10.
