1 sought, 2 arrested in Md. barber shop robbery

WASHINGTON — Police in Prince George’s County are looking for a suspect in a robbery in the area of Seat Pleasant, Maryland.

Seat Pleasant police responded to a robbery at Joe’s Old Barber Shop on the 5800 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Highway around 5 p.m. Saturday, NBC Washington reports.

Police spotted a car that matched the description of the vehicle from the robbery, and tried to conduct a traffic stop, but the driver of the car would not pull over, leading police on a brief chase into D.C.

The driver eventually fell out of the car and was found suffering from a gunshot wound. Two other suspects ran from the car. One was arrested. The other suspect shot at an officer while running away. The officer was unhurt.

Police arrested the two suspects and the suspect who was shot was taken to the hospital in critical condition. One suspect is still at large.
