WASHINGTON — Police are investigating a shooting in Hyattsville that left one man dead and two other people wounded.
Prince George’s County police responded to a hospital around 7:30 p.m. Friday for three shooting victims who had transported themselves to the hospital.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the victims were shot in the intersection of 54th Avenue and Macbeth Street.
Two of the victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The third victim, 20-year-old Jeremiah Marlon Dingle, died of his injuries on Wednesday.
Preliminarily, detectives do not believe this was a random crime. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.
Detectives are working to identify a motive and the suspect(s) involved.
