WASHINGTON — Two people were hurt after an SUV crashed into a house and caught fire in Fairmount Heights, Maryland during the early hours of Monday.
Prince George’s County police say that the SUV was going at a high rate of speed on Addison Road toward Sheriff Road, in Fairmount Heights, at about 2:30 a.m. when it lost control, hit a tree, then hit the house in the 5200 block of Addison Road.
The SUV then caught fire, the police say. There were five people in the SUV; two of them, including the driver, were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No one in the house was hurt.
