Prince George’s police investigate a double homicide

WASHINGTON — Prince George’s Police are investigating a double homicide Friday night in Oxon Hill.

Officers received reports of gunshots at about 11:55 p.m., on the 700 block of Audrey Lane. After arriving, officers found Deangelo Green, 24, of Upper Marlboro suffering from gunshot wounds.

A short time later, an ambulance then rushed Green to the hospital where he was announced dead.

Officers found the second victim, Rashard Jackson, 25, Bowie, behind a nearby apartment complex with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Investigators say the shootings were not random and are working to find the motives and suspects for the shootings.
