WASHINGTON – “All or Nothing: A Season with the Arizona Cardinals” is a new series that chronicles the 2015 NFC West Champions over an eight-episode season on Amazon Video, produced by NFL Films. Calais Campbell was one of the defensive captains of the 13-3 Cardinals, who fell just a game short of the Super Bowl last season when they lost to the Carolina Panthers in the NFC Championship Game.
Campbell spoke with WTOP’s Chris Cichon about the series and his two-time Coach of the Year Bruce Arians.
“He’s a guy who can BS with you after or before meetings and have a good time, but when it’s work time, it’s all work,” Campbell told WTOP about Arians.
Coming off his consecutive Pro Bowl appearance in a year where he started all 16 games with 61 tackles, 5 sacks and a fumble recovery, Campbell chronicles the successful season and provides a glimpse of off the field life in the meeting rooms and when the players are away from the football facilities. He also details his decision to play for the University of Miami before he got to the NFL, Arizona’s team expectations for the 2016 season, and what it was like to attend Harvard Business School and intern with actor/comedian Will Ferrell in the offseason.
