Falcons 26 Atlanta has won a league best 8 straight home openers but Matt Ryan is like a one-man version of the Nationals: tantalizingly talented, often overrated and consistently reminds us he’s not elite. (Curtis Compton/Atlanta-Journal Constitution via AP)

Niners 20 Either Minnesota’s offense wasn’t as ready for primetime as I thought or this San Fran defense is legit. If Carlos Hyde keeps racking up yardage on the ground and Colin Kaepernick can continue to demonstrate quality play from the pocket, the Niners might actually be pretty good. Cowboys 27 Dallas gave up two return touchdowns to a New York squad that had only one all of last year, yet managed to improve to 8-0 all-time in openers against the Giants. However, the ‘Boys’ impressive come-from-behind win — Tony Romo’s league-leading 28th since becoming a starter in 2006 — is sullied by losing Dez Bryant for 4-6 weeks with a broken foot. Redskins 10 New team, same old boy named Suh. If you think Ndamakong kicked Alfred Morris’ helmet off, he doesn’t know what you’re talking about. Count on the league office jogging his memory this week. (UPDATE: Apparently I’m wrong. Again.) (AP Photo/Evan Vucci)

Jets 31 How bad is Cleveland? The Browns not only gave up 31 points to a Jets squad that only scored that many points once last season … but the Brownies dropped their 11th straight season opener, the longest active streak in the NFL. The road to 2-14 is already being paved.. (AP Photo/Kathy Willens)

Jaguars 9 These two teams debuted as expansion teams in 1995, and 20 years later Jacksonville is still playing like one: Gus Bradley’s Jags have suffered 20 double-digit losses under his watch, a solid reason why he likely won’t be in Northern Florida next year. (Mike Ehrmann/Getty Images)

Broncos 19 Talk about a battle of attrition … the only touchdowns were Pick 6s, Terrell Suggs is out for the year with a torn Achilles, and even an official left the game injured. Denver won its first game without an offensive touchdown since 2006, but a Peyton Manning-led team can’t keep this up for an entire season. (Doug Pensinger/Getty Images)

Colts 14 Give Aaron Williams credit … he said Andrew Luck is just another quarterback and with an interception, helped make him look like it. Not a good start for an Indy team that may have already started the year in some trouble. Buffalo’s defense is what I expected it to be, but Tyrod Taylor’s debut was better than I thought. In his first start since the 2011 Orange Bowl — when, ironically, he faced Stanford’s Andrew Luck — Taylor was 14-of-19 for 195 yards and a touchdown, adding 41 rushing yards. Indy’s defense remains suspect, but if Taylor keeps that up the Bills will be … as good as I told you. Texans 20 Brian Hoyer couldn’t even get halfway through the first game without getting benched, Randy Bullock became the first kicker to miss an extra point at the new distance, and — as usual — J.J. Watt single-handedly kept the Texans in the game. Houston: You may have a problem. (AP Photo/David J. Phillip)

Bears 23 Jay Cutler has now thrown an interception in every start against the Packers since joining the Bears (12 games including playoffs), helping Green Bay improve to 12-1 all-time in games in which Cutler is the opposing starter at QB. It might be time for a quarterback change to blow into the Windy City. (AP Photo/Nam Y. Huh)

Rams 34 (OT) Seattle’s Super Bowl hangover might be real. The Seahawks got cooked on special teams and defense, Pete Carroll made more questionable late game decisions, and Russell Wilson got sacked six times in his first career overtime loss. Maybe this gets Kam Chancellor paid … (Jamie Squire/Getty Images)

Cardinals 31 Remember: Arizona didn’t lose last season when Carson Palmer started and finished a game. If Rookie David Johnson scored on his only touch, and if this offense continues to show balance it could continue raining touchdowns in the desert. (Getty Images)

Chargers 33 San Diego supercharged their way to 30 straight points against a good Detroit defense thanks to Keenan Allen’s epic day and Philip Rivers proving himself worthy of his big payday (404 yards, 2 TDs). Depending on the severity of DJ Fluker’s injury, this could be a special offense. (AP Photo/Denis Poroy)

Bucs 14 In the battle between the draft’s first two picks, Jameis Winston’s first NFL pass attempt was intercepted and returned for a touchdown, while Marcus Mariota finished the game with more TDs (4) than incompletions (3) en route to a perfect 158.3 passer rating. But keep it in perspective Tampa and Tennessee. The last player to throw a Pick 6 on his first NFL pass was Brett Favre in 1991. And we all remember how great 2012 Offensive Rookie of the Year Robert Griffin III was in his first NFL start on the road … (AP Photo/Scott Audette)

Raiders 13 Fearless prediction time. 1) Tyler Eifert is going to have a lot of big games this season, inevitably prompting Chris Berman to refer to the 6-foot-6 Bengals tight end as “The Eifert Tower.” 2) If Derek Carr’s hand injury keeps him out for an extended period of time, Oakland will lose every game he misses and contend for the top pick in the 2016 draft. 3) Adam Jones is getting suspended for losing his mind and going back to being Pacman. (UPDATE: No suspension for Pacman. Now that I’m 0-2 on these predictions I’ll just chalk it up to the league not knowing what it’s doing when it comes to discipline, and thus completely unpredictable.) (AP Photo/Tony Avelar)

Patriots 28 DeAngelo Williams turned back the clock Thursday, posting his first 100 yard rushing game since Week 3 of 2013 and Big Ben threw for 351 yards … but Rob Gronkowski became the first player in NFL history with multiple games of 3 receiving touchdowns against the Steelers, and Pittsburgh didn’t finish enough drives to keep Tom Brady from giving Roger Goodell a prime-time middle finger. Speaking of Brady, he set a franchise record with 19 consecutive completions in his 23rd game with four or more touchdown passes, third all-time along with Brett Favre. He also passed Favre for the most wins as starting QB for one team. Something tells me these are the first of many records to come in 2015. (AP Photo/Winslow Townson)
