The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of $1.45 per share.
The pharmaceutical company posted revenue of $35.1 million in the period, also topping Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $33.9 million.
Karyopharm Therapeutics expects full-year revenue in the range of $130 million to $150 million.
