The Los Angles, California-based company said it had net income of 45 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for investment costs, came to 55 cents per share.
The results fell short of Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 56 cents per share.
The specialty finance company posted revenue of $94.7 million in the period, which also did not meet Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $98.1 million.
For the year, the company reported profit of $57.9 million, or 72 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $381.7 million.
