What graduates of Georgetown, UMd., GW and more can expect in midcareer salaries

The median midcareer salary for graduates of 13 four-year colleges and universities located in Greater Washington is $120,715, according to data from PayScale Inc.

The Seattle company has ranked the colleges and universities by the median salaries of their alumni. In the gallery below, we run down the local colleges and break out midcareer pay, which PayScale defines as the median salary for a bachelor’s degree-holder with 10+ years’ experience.

While the more prestigious universities do tend to average higher pay, the order of the 13 local schools changed a bit from PayScale’s ranking of early-career salaries.

The U.S. Naval Academy, located in Annapolis, boasted the highest midcareer salary of Maryland schools, at $94,200. Washington & Lee University in Lexington posted the highest midcareer salary among Virginia schools at $162,500.
